Hi there:
How are you doing? What’s your weekend looking like?
It’s been a fairly intense few weeks, but I wanted to stop by anyway.
We’re wrapping up the training with Atenea consulting (it’s been a really powerful experience for all the participants), finishing the edit of the second novel in the pentalogy La leyenda del oro y el jade, my translation and review projects for clients are still going full speed, the copy for my new website is almost ready…
Wow. That’s a lot. It’s so hard to condense onto one website page what you can do for your community right now, and to explain what drives you to do what you do, despite the challenges.
Especially when what you do is bigger than you. You’re no longer doing it for yourself. You’re doing it for those people.
Yes, I’m at a fantastic point of growth, but I wasn’t quite showing that: finally building a team, opening new business lines, continuing with other projects and clients I love and that sustain my lifestyle — none of that matched the professional image I was sharing on Instagram (mostly) and LinkedIn (a bit too).
Talking with another brand consultant, I set myself the goal of elevating my professional image to match my style, my values, who I am now, and what I stand for.
And boom! What a first wave of vertigo.
This connects me to my movement, to what I want to see in the world, and to what drives me to do what I do as well as I can. Can you guess what connects me, and what I want to convey to the translation world?

In the image above I’m sharing my movement — what’s yours?
That’s why I wanted to bring you this reflection on personal branding, internal perception, and how that translates outward.
I’ll leave you with the questions I’ve been asking myself these past few weeks, because they’ve helped me move forward, and I hope they do the same for you.
Here they are. Why do you do what you do? Beyond making a living from your profession… what drives you to do that and not something else? Do you see any specific change you’d like to lead in your industry, to shift what’s established? If you ever feel lost, these answers will help you reconnect with your movement, with what you do, and why. They’re a powerful anchor for grounding your communication.
